When Sony released the PlayStation 4 in November 2013, the system’s greatness relied solely on what the future held. Despite a lackluster group of launch titles, rabid Sony fans quickly jumped at the
opportunity to purchase gaming’s latest achievement, hoping the console’s bright future and peppering of upcoming titles wouldn’t let them down. Now, nearly 18 months after its debut, the system is just starting to showcase its true potential as the preeminent entertainment solution in households across the globe. Lauded titles such as the recently-launched Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and last year’s Shadow of Mordor are finally beginning to give gamers a reason to make the next-gen jump, while the console’s inclusion of services like HBO Go only strengthen its appeal beyond gaming and into the realm of film.
Considering the PS4’s growing popularity in recent months, it was only a matter of time before a slew of discounted system bundles began to hit the Web. To help you find which PS4 bundle is right for you and your gaming habits, we’ve sifted through a host of deals to help make your decision that much easier. Below are our picks of the five best PS4bundles currently on the market, regardless if you’re a sports fanatic or one more concerned with how humans would fare in a post-apocalyptic America.

The Best

PS4 (500GB) | Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection bundle or Star Wars Battlefront bundle | 58″ Samsung LED Smart TV ($799)

BestPS4Bundle2
While not solely a PlayStation 4 bundle, we couldn’t help but keep it off our list after uncovering this smoking deal from the folks over at Best Buy. Not only does it give buyers the choice between the Uncharted: Nathan Drake Collection 500GB PS4 bundle or the Star Wars Battlefront 500GB PS4 bundle, but tosses in a 58″ Samsung LED Smart TV for a little over $500. In fact, once the entire bundle finds its way to Best Buy’s cart/checkout section, even the PS4 discounts by roughly $20. Obviously, this deal only works well for those in the market for a PS4 and a television, but there’s no getting around how good of a deal $800 is for this pair of goodies.
