Final Fantasy 7 Remake

It’s finally happening. After years of rumors, petitions, and pleads, Final Fantasy fans got the announcement they’ve been waiting for: Final Fantasy VII is getting a full-fledged remake.
Square-Enix unveiled the remake at Sony’s E3 2015 press conference with a gorgeous CG trailer amid the impassioned cheers of fans in the audience. While just a teaser, it confirmed that Final Fantasy VII will in fact be getting the remake treatment, something fans have been pining for ever since a tech demo at E3 2005 featured the opening scene of Final Fantasy VII remade utilizing the powerful 3D graphics of the then-new PlayStation 3. Alas, the tech demo turned out to be nothing more than that, but it ignited a fire that spread throughout the Final Fantasy fan base that never ceased. Thankfully, ten years after the tech demo, Final Fantasy VII is being remade for real, and the internet has gone bonkers once again.
